After examining response time behavior of chat participants in instant messengers in previous work, my focus is now the detection of behavioral changes connected to major life events in anonymous chat metadata as collected by the Dona project. To this end, I am interested in unsupervised and semi-supervised methods of pattern detection and discrimination in time series, such as Change Point Detection (CPD) methods.
