Goals
The core objective of NiME is to transfer the concept of resonance-orientated vocational training for sustainable development (BBNE) developed in the NaReLe (Sustainable Resonance Spaces in the Food Industry) pilot project - supplemented by political and cultural dimensions - from the food industry to other industrial occupations, specifically the metal and electrical industry. Material-supported, adaptively designed further and advanced training courses are being developed that enable vocational training personnel in the metal and electrical industry to identify (operational) fields of action and related learning situations with references to sustainable transformation and to develop corresponding teaching-learning settings that open up participatory learning along actual, operational sustainable design options.
Procedure
The project is methodically based on the concept of sustainable resonance spaces, which are adapted to the needs of the metal and electrical industry. The concepts to be developed relate to the exemplary occupational profiles of industrial clerk, industrial mechanic and electronics technician for automation technology. At the start date, a two-fold sector-specific status quo analysis of the conditions, opportunities and limitations of (in-company) VETSD is carried out: on the one hand, by concretising practical needs from the perspective of groups involved in training, and on the other hand, by working through curricular requirement dimensions. Building on this, the didactic concept of resonance-orientated learning tasks in collaborative work processes will be iteratively adapted for the metal and electrical industry and an adaptive, modular workshop concept including associated educational materials for and with gatekeepers will be implemented, evaluated, reflected on and expanded, taking into account the practical experience of the participants. The extended workshop concept will be distributed and consolidated through train-the-trainer courses for multipliers and IG Metall education officers and as an online education programme via the IG Metall WAP portal.
Expected results
The result is adaptively designed educational material for the implementation of train-the-trainer courses and as an online-supported self-learning programme for in-company vocational training personnel, which builds on a holistic sustainability-oriented learning task culture and integrates the political-cultural dimensions of VETSD. Teaching and learning materials that can be used in specific training settings are flanked by didactic and methodological commentaries and thus open up self-learning processes for the training staff, who are enabled to enable their trainees to engage in reflective, self-directed and creative learning processes.

Für eine nachhaltige Berufsbildungspraxis ist qualifiziertes Ausbildungspersonal unabdingbar – damit einher geht ein Bedarf an entsprechenden Fort- und Weiterbildungskonzepten. Ein solches wird im BMBF- und ESF-geförderten Projekt „NiME – Nachhaltigkeit in Berufen der Metall- und Elektroindustrie“ partizipativ entwickelt und evaluiert. 10.12.2024 - Nächster Workshop im Januar
Das Projekt „Nachhaltigkeit in Berufen der Metall- und Elektroindustrie“ (NiME) veranstaltet im Januar des kommenden Jahres einen Methoden-Workshop zum Thema Nachhaltigkeit für Ausbilderinnen und Akteurinnen der beruflichen Bildung. Innerhalb des Workshops werden gemeinsam innovative Methoden und Konzepte erarbeitet und erprobt, um nachhaltiges Handeln in den Berufsalltag zu integrieren und Auszubildende fit für die Herausforderungen der Zukunft zu machen. Die Methoden sind praxisnah gestaltet und können direkt in den Betrieben zum Einsatz kommen. Du hast Interesse an dem Workshop oder Fragen? 01.09.2024 - NiME vernetzt und präsentiert sich
Im September findet die Auftaktveranstaltung des ESF plus-kofinanzierten BMBF-Programms Nachhaltig im Beruf – zukunftsorientiert ausbilden (NIB) in Bonn statt. Dort kommen alle bundesweiten Projekte zusammen, die im Rahmen dieses Programms gefördert werden – also auch NiME – und nutzen den Anlass, sich vorzustellen, auszutauschen und zu vernetzen. Auch weitere Gelegenheiten zum Präsentieren und Vernetzen lässt sich das NiME-Team nicht entgehen und wird daher auf der bwp-Jahrestagung 2024 in Dresden, der DGfE-BNE-Kommissionstagung 2024 in Bamberg und der GSÖBW-Jahrestagung 2024 in Köln anzutreffen sein. 01.07.2024 - Vollständiges Team beginnt mit Fortbildungskonzeption

01.05.2024 - Projekt NiME gestartet
Am 1.5. ist das BMBF-Projekt "Nachhaltigkeit in Berufen der Metall- und Elektroindustrie (NiME)" gestartet. In dem Transferprojekt - das von der Universität Bielefeld und der Leuphana Universität Lüneburg in Kooperation mit der IG Metall durchgeführt wird - sollen aus dem Modellversuch NaReLe heraus entwickelte Ansätze zur resonanzorientierten Berufsbildung von der Lebensmittel- in die Metall- und Elektroindustrie übertragen werden, um Nachhaltigkeit verstärkt in die Ausbildung zu integrieren.
