Scientific Software: Research and publication on the history and philosophy of science, focusing on the history of software in the digital sciences from 1950 to 2010

Project Description

The overarching goal of the long-term project "Edition Wissenschaftliche Software" is to collect, edit, and archive scientific software from the period between 1950 and 2010s. At the Bielefeld project site, a special focus will be on historical instrument software as well as software for data analysis and visualisation used in scientific computing in chemistry.
