In this profile, we focus on speech- and language disorders in different populations. The profile includes lectures on acquired and developmental disorders and also covers theoretical and methodological aspects in the development of clinical applications.

The profile on research aspects of clinical linguistics deals with variations in language, speech, and communication in the context of various diseases and acquisition problems. Neurological disorders such as stroke often result in language and communication problems like aphasia, dysarthria, or pragmatic problems. Swallowing problems are among the disorders covered in the program, as well as communication and speech fluency disorders and problems with language acquisition in childhood.
