TeToM – Teacher Training Tool in Mathematics for Support Activities is an Erasmus+ funded European cooperation project focusing on the development of a modular and hybrid teacher training programme in mathematics. The project supports teachers in the professional implementation of support activities based on existing diagnostic procedures.
The training programme emphasises the practical support of fundamental mathematical competencies (“mathematical key skills”) in arithmetic and algebra. For this purpose, support materials are developed and provided as best-practice examples, offering concrete starting points for further student support.
The project focuses on grades 5 and 7, which represent key transition points within the education system, including the transition from primary to lower secondary education and further orientation within secondary education.
