The Franka Research 3 is a robotic arm that is used particularly in AI and robotics research. The system is manufactured by Franka Robotics in Germany and has TÜV certification for human-robot collaboration.

The arm is equipped with a range of high-precision sensors and actuators for maximum precision. It has 7 axes and torque sensors in all joints. This means that the arm can be controlled very precisely and flexibly adapted to the situation. The robot is therefore particularly suitable for fine motor tasks, which are often necessary when working with people.

Thanks to an open and collaborative platform and several control interfaces, Franka Research 3 is well suited to our research and can be used for a wide range of specific research projects. This also makes it easy to exchange ideas with other researchers and develop open source software.
