What does the ZAB offer?

The Accessibility Services (ZAB) are the joint central point of contact for all people around the topics of accessibility and active participation of people with disabilities of the Representative of Severely Disabled Persons and the Representative of Students with Disabilities and Chronic Illness at Bielefeld University.

ZAB

  • Confidentially advises students on issues related to studying with a disability or chronic illness.
  • Supports employees in the barrier-free design of their work materials.
  • advises lecturers on the implementation of barrier-free courses

The Accessibility Services (ZAB) was launched at the end of 2017 by the then representative for students with disabilities or chronic illnesses and the representative of severely disabled people as a joint contact point.
