EnLeMaH Teacher Training Course

During the two years of the project, there have been three main areas of work. Firstly, the transnational meetings, planned at strategic moments in the life of this project and which have contributed to its planning and implementation. Secondly, the multiplier events, i.e. activities planned to disseminate the project and build partnerships with local institutions. Thirdly, the intellectual outputs, i.e. the development and implementation stages of the project. Finally, as a result of the two years of project work, the EnLeMaH teacher training course, a place for training in the teaching of mathematics from an enactivist perspective.

The EnLeMaH course addresses the following learning contents and their application in practice:

  • Introduction to the enactive approach to teaching mathematics. Theory, principles and criteria for enactive work.
  • Working with examples of enactive learning units in mathematics for synchronous and asynchronous teaching situations.
  • Review of the examples developed and creation of a guide for students.
  • Putting the examples into practice in class with the students.
  • Final reflection on the practice and evaluation.

The first EnLeMaH pilot course took place in parallel in Germany, Croatia, Spain and Lithuania from October to December 2022. After refining the content and teaching materials, universal and open access to the EnLeMaH course has been created.

The Moodle platform on which the course is integrated is open and does not require prior registration. Learning in the EnLeMaH course is digital and entirely self-directed. It is possible to complete the course on the platform as well as to import its contents to local platforms in order to facilitate the application of the course at school with secondary school pupils.

If you have any questions about the course, please do not hesitate to write to the contact person on the website.
