Study Abroad

Application period for Erasmus+ semester abroad in academic year 2025/26 starts

From 10 - 31 January 2025, you can apply for Erasmus+ scholarships (semester abroad) in winter semester 2025/26 and/or summer semester 2026.

Take advantage of this great opportunity to gain valuable experience for yourself and your studies.

How do you apply? You can only apply via the MOBILITY ONLINE database. You can find instructions here. You can find more information about a study visit via the Erasmus+ programme on the website of the International Office.

Information material on a study visit to partner universities of our faculty as well as the credit transfer modalities can be found in the learning room of the eKVV course 317755 Study abroad.

The Bielefeld Faculty of Business Administration and Economics participates in exchanges with the European universities listed below within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme.

Students apply to study abroad at their respective home university. At our faculty, the yearly application procedure is for the whole academic year, i.e., for the following winter and summer term, and takes place in the winter. It starts with an information session, which will take place in November or December. The event will provide a detailed overview of our collaborations and the current ERASMUS programme. You will receive information on the application modalities, the recognition of achievements and the required language skills. Former exchange students will also be invited to talk about their personal experiences. The application deadline is January 31.

Please have a look at the information that we have compiled especially for Bielefeld and international students. Contact Dr. Andreas Szczutkowski (Bielefeld students), Dr. Jan Thomas Martini (international students), or Prof. Dr. Roland Langrock (Master's degree in Statistical Sciences) under erasmus.wiwi@uni-bielefeld.de if any questions remain.
