Bielefeld Graduate School in Theoretical Sciences (BGTS)

The BGTS is a joint institution of the Faculties of Business Administration and Economics, Mathematics and Physics and the IMW at Bielefeld University. The BGTS aims at supporting and organizing research and research training in Theoretical Sciences at Bielefeld University. A special focus lies on an international orientation and interdisciplinary collaboration.

European Doctorate in Economics Erasmus Mundus (EDEEM)

EDEEM is a doctoral program in economics that gathers seven leading European institutions coordinated by the IMW.

Expired Doctoral Programs at the Center for Mathematical Economics

The Center for Mathematical Economics participated in the following doctoral programs:

Economic Behavior and Interaction Models (EBIM), International Research Training Group [01.04.2005 - 31.03.2015]

EBIM was a joint doctoral program of the Center for Mathematical Economics and the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics at Bielefeld University and the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. The focus was on quantitative economics. Students spent time at both institutions.

Stochastics and Real World Models, International Graduate College [01.01.2006 - 31.12.2015]

This was a joint doctoral program between the Faculty of Mathematics at Bielefeld University and Beijing, especially the Chineses Academy of Sciences. The focus was on Stochastics with Applications in Economics and Physics.
