Master's seminar
Each semester, selected topics from the "Leadership of Family Businesses" Modules (31-MM-33) are assigned for the preparation of seminar papers. A seminar paper enables students to acquire a total of 5 credit points (LP) and qualifies them to write a Master's thesis at the chair "Leadership of Family Businesses".
Independent work is required in the course of the seminar paper. Since the seminar paper is to be understood as a tutorial (in connection with lecture/seminar) for the Master's thesis, there is a special focus on scientific work. Specific requirements and design rules can be found in the guidelines for writing a scientific paper at the Foundation Chair of Family Business Management.
The overall grade results from the written elaboration of the seminar paper and a final presentation.
In order to participate in the seminar, you must make a binding registration by sending an e-mail to lsthoon@uni-bielefeld.de, stating your name, first name, matriculation number, subject related semester and course number, as well as adding the course to your timetable in the electronic course catalogue (ekvV)! You will receive information about the allocation of places via the Participant Management.
