Prof. Dr. Christina Hoon
In the doctoral colloquium, the doctoral students of the chair present research results and discuss the progress of their doctoral project. Regular colloquia with doctoral students from other chairs/universities help the doctoral students to exchange ideas, critical suggestions as well as points still open and discuss them with each other.
Doctoral training: Research Day
The Endowed Chair of Family Business Management consistently pursues the goal of producing academic achievements at a high level and is oriented towards the usual international standards. As young academics, the doctoral students of the chair contribute to this in particular through presentations at national and international conferences on family business research, through contributions to edited volumes and through publication in recognised, peer-reviewed journals. The doctoral students at the endowed chair are prepared to engage in academic discourse with the scientific community and also bring sufficient time resources, necessary methodological knowledge and initial publication experience to be able to make a significant academic contribution to the state of family business research. Work progress is regularly discussed with the supervisor and in the doctoral colloquium.
