The impacts of climate change in particular rising temperatures, CO2-levels and more intensive drought stress periods are of increasing concern. In this project, we investigate the impacts of continuous versus pulsed drought stress on wheat in
dependence of the presence of mycorrhiza and further effects on the performance and preferences of aphids. Furthermore, we study drought effects on wheat primary and specialised leaf, fruit and phloem sap metabolites and relate these to potential effects on herbivores.
