Code for information theoretic analysis

Several studies have used information-theoretic analyses. The Copula Methods developed by  Robin Ince available here

Pyentropy is is also an efficient Python package.

Auditory saliency map

The matlab code for the auditory saliency map is available here.
See "Mechanisms for allocating auditory attention: An auditory saliency map" Kayser et al Current Biology 2005.

Naturalistic sounds from Kayser et al Neuron '09

The sound sequence used for the unit recordings and EEG studies is here.
See "Spike-phase coding boosts and stabilizes the information carried by spatial and temporal spike patterns" Kayser et al Neuron 2009, and "EEG phase patterns reflect the selectivity of neural firing" Ng et al Cerebral Cortex 2013.

Cat-Cam. The world from a cat's perspective

The full video sequences used to analyse scene statistics are available on request. A short video segment can be found here.

See 'Temporal correlations of orientations in natural scenes'. Kayser et al Neurocomputing 2003, and 'Responses to natural scenes in cat V1' Kayser et al J. of Neurophysiology 2003

Manipulations of speech rhythm

Example sentences for the study manipulating speech rhythm can be found here.
