The study programme bridges the gap between neurophysiology and behavioural ecology and aims to grant students a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental principles underlying autonomous adaptive behaviour in both animals and humans.
The Master programme brings together different fields of ecology (animal and plant ecology, chemical ecology, conservation ecology and theoretical evolutionary ecology) to explore how individuals, populations, communities and ecosystems respond and adapt to environmental change.
The Faculty of Biology maintains ERASMUS+ Cooperation with various European partner institutions. Students participating in the ERASMUS-Programme will get support in financing and organizing their stay abroad. Overview Partner Universities (in German).
