The conference ist held at the Center for Interdisiplinary Research (ZiF). The ZiF is Bielefeld University’s Institute for Advanced Study and fosters outstanding and innovative interdisciplinary research projects. The best way to reach the ZiF from Bielefeld main station is by cab (approx. 10 min, 15 Euro). Additionally, there is a direct bus connection from the train station to the ZiF (bus stop Universität/ Studentenwohnheim, line 62 direction Borgholzhausen and line 61 direction Werther/ Halle – up to every 15 minutes during the day). During the day, tram line 4 towards Universität/ Lohmannshof drives to the university every 10 minutes. From the Bültmannshof it is a 15-minute walk to the ZiF (see this map).

Due to a major construction site in the “Stapenhorststraße”, the frequency of buses and the cost of cab rides may change.
