Faculty of Biology

An increasing number of courses for bachelor- and master-classes apply  microscopes and provide skills in advanced microscopy. For instance, students are introduced to fluorescence microscopy and confocal laser scanning microscopy in the modules 1, 3 and 6 of the master program "Molecular Cell Biology" (MCB). Currently, Leica SP2 and Leica SPE are located next the course labs, an Axiovert40 can be found in the MCB-lab and a mobile fully automated Keyence fluorescence microscope is available.
