Academics of all status groups from other universities and non-university research institutions can be co-opted as associate members of the Center for Theories in Historical Research.
Prerequisites for this are a clearly recognizable research interest in the field of philosophy of history, theory of history and/or theories in historical research, and willingness to be active at the Theory Center in the long term.
Associate members may participate in Theory Center working formats and have full speaking rights at general meetings; they have an advisory function but are not entitled to vote.
