StONe – Steward Ownership Network

Under the terms ‘steward ownership’, ‘purpose ownership’ or ‘trust ownership’, a form of business ownership has gained international traction. A characteristic feature of these companies is that the profits of the company belong to the company that owns the business and not to the shareholders with voting rights. The Steward Ownership Network (StONe) aims to contribute to the research and implementation of this form of ownership as an international and interdisciplinary network.
