Organized by Margit Fauser, Anne Friedrichs, and Levke Harders, the workshop brings together scholars from history, sociology and anthropology who present their work on practices and politics of inclusion, belonging and exclusion that revolve around spatial mobilities and migration from the early 19th to the 21st centuries in Europe. It is the aim to deepen our interdisciplinary understanding of the relationship between transnational, and transregional, migrations and the processes of re/de/bordering.
