Office of the Dean
The Dean's Office is the business and information centre for all organisational matters concerning the Faculty of Sociology. This includes the planning of the courses offered and the administration of the faculty's budget, furthermore the organisation of examinations as well as the support of the faculty members in the preparation and implementation of research projects.

Dean of Studies
The Office of the Dean of Studies is responsible for the organisation and implementation of the courses offered by the Faculty of Sociology. It ensures that the courses offered comply with the examination and study regulations and that the programme can be completed within the standard period of study. To this end, the Office of the Dean of Studies advises teaching staff, instructors, lecturers and students and ensures that teaching is evaluated.

Teaching evaluation
Teaching evaluation at the Faculty of Sociology serves to incorporate student re-enrolment into the continuous improvement of teaching quality and programme quality. The results of the evaluations are used by teaching staff, instructors and lecturers to further develop teaching. In addition, the aggregated data is used to systematically incorporate re-enrolment into quality assurance and certification processes. A standard Faculty questionnaire is used for teaching evaluations. If you would like to add any course-specific questions to the questionnaire, please send them to the Dean of Studies Office (lehrevaluation.soz@uni-bielefeld.de).
