Isolation & characterization of new strains
Microalgae are highly diverse microbes, many of which being not well characterized. Therefore, discovery and isolation of new strains characterized by high and robust biomass yields or the capacity to produce high value compounds offers a great potential.
We continuously isolate strains and investigate growth and intracellular characteristics, including full-genome sequencing and metabolome analyses.
