Information on our student association
Who we are
Our student council is a group of students of Mathematical Economics, trying to represent the interests of all students of their field within the university. It consists of members who belong to a wide variety of terms.
What we do
Our primary goal is to provide assistance and advice for students, especially the freshmen. We also inform those who are interested in prior to the start of their studies for the degree program in Mathematical Economics. Likewise we try to solve organizational problems, such als lecture overlaps.
And otherwise?
At the beginning of each semester we organize an orientation day in the university to welcome new students. Furthermore we host our legendary "Erstsemesterfahrt" at the beginning of each winter term and invite professors of freshmen lectures Analysis 1 and Lineare Algebra 1 to a relaxed chat in a pub. In addition you can spend your leisure hours with us. Make it yourself comfortable in our seating area while solving excercises or play kicker with some other students!
