In this context, it's especially important to systematically review articles from current research (e.g., Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Marketing Science, Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Marketing Letters, Marketing ZFP, among others) and evaluate them in the context of the relevant topic.

General Notes on the Content and Organization of the Seminar

  1. Additional office hours with supervisors are intended for documenting the progress of the project and discussing any outstanding questions or possible improvements.
  2. The written documentation of seminar papers should follow the Formalia für Seminar-, Bachelor- und Masterarbeiten and should not exceed 20 to 25 pages for the conception and evaluation of the empirical study (excluding an unlimited appendix for diagrams, source codes, data tables, etc.). The focus should be on the quality, not the quantity, of the content!
  3. The source codes generated for data evaluations, as well as the used or produced input and output files, must be submitted electronically.
  4. The overall grade will be based on the evaluation of each presentation and the written documentation.
  5. A prerequisite for successfully completing the seminar is that participants are able to provide topic-related contributions on request at all event dates.
  6. Please note that attendance is mandatory at the kick-off event and all presentation dates. Unexcused absences will result in exclusion from the seminar and failure.
