Document Delivery
The document delivery service enables you to order journal articles that are not available in the library quickly (usually within one working day). This service is particularly suitable for ordering journal articles in colour or for ordering articles that have so far only been published as preprint/epub ahead of print.
The service is available to all members of the university. For academics and employees of Bielefeld University, the university library will cover the costs incurred. Students have to pay for the service. Further information (in German only).
The document delivery service complements the library's interlibrary loan service. For less urgent orders of articles or for ordering monographs and for non-university members, the online interlibrary loan is still available as an ordering system.
