Databases and E-Journals
On the Databases and E-journals page, you can search for (not in) a database or an e-journal, or select a subject area to view all offerings from that subject.
In the segment "Library Catalogue" of our Catalogue.plus you can find many of our licensed e-journals (journal titles only, not journal articles).
If you want to search directly in a database or an e-journal, you can do this in the Articles and more section of Catalogue.plus.
Access to licenced databases and e-journals is restricted to the Bielefeld University. For members of Bielefeld University, it is also possible to access databases off-campus through VPN / Shibboleth.
E-Books
Bielefeld University Library enlarges and enhances its range of electronic media more and more by licencing e-books. Hundreds of thousands of e-books and electronic full-texts are accessible for our library users.
You can access e-books and e-book packages via our subject list, or you can find e-books directly by searching our Catalogue.plus.
Access to the majority of the e-books is restricted to the Bielefeld University. For members of Bielefeld University it is also possible to access e-books off-campus through VPN / Shibboleth.
