Are you new to the university or already in the middle of your studies and wondering whether a scholarship is right for you? Then visit our scholarship information day on 5 May from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm in the central hall in front of the AudiMax in the Main University Building (UHG).

The day will focus on personal contact: At the stands of various scholarship organizations, you will meet scholars and stipendiaries who will share their first-hand experiences. They will talk openly about their path to a scholarship, give practical advice on how to apply, and answer your individual questions. This direct encounter offers you the opportunity to

• gain authentic insights into the selection process and requirements
• learn more about financial and non-material support
• obtain information about commitment and networks within the foundations and
• clarify uncertainties in a personal dialogue.

Such an exchange is often the decisive step: here you can ask uncomplicated questions, establish contacts, and gather valuable first-hand information.

In addition to the stands of the scholarship organizations and the BAföG office, you can expect stands on the topic of student funding with a focus on scholarships from the General Student Advisory Service (ZSB), the AStA's (Student Union) student finance advice service, and other institutions. There, you can get an overview of various funding opportunities.

In addition, from 10:00-11:30 a.m., Bielefeld University's Talent Scouting team invites you to an independent presentation about the nature of scholarship in general in S0-209, which will give you a good introduction to the topic.
