Travel grant application can be done before registration through our conference booking platform. However, it has to be done after abstract submission since a presenations of some kind, either a talk or a poster, is a condition for being eligible to a travel grant and we ask for the submission ID in the application form below.
In the form you will also have to write a short motivational statement, a rough estimation of your expected travel costs necessary to attend the conference and confirming that no other funding is available or if it is, to what extent.
The height of the admitted travel grant is flexible and will be based on several factors, one of which is the estimated travel costs which depend on the country your affiliation is based in. We decided to have such a flexible approach instead of a fixed sum to allow researchers from underpriviliged areas or in situations where external funding is very limited or unavailable to attend the conference even though they do not have any possibilities of making up for the money that is missing to cover all their costs in any other way.
Please proceed to the form below and submit your application until March 31. We will inform you about our decisions shortly afterwards. In case you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch through behaviour2023@uni-bielefeld.de.
