- The Interdisciplinary Center for Gender Studies (IZG) at Bielefeld University places gender and gender relations at the centre of its research. The Centre initiates research activities, promotes contacts between researchers and supports interdisciplinary exchange within gender studies. It conducts its own research projects and works with institutions and organisations that pursue interesting questions and seek cooperation for work and projects. The research perspective is interdisciplinary and offers researchers from different scientific disciplines the opportunity to participate.
