ATTENTION! Change in the schedule for the Bachelor Colloquium!

Please note that starting in the summer semester of 2026, we will be introducing a changed schedule for our master's seminar, practical exercises, and Bachelor Colloquium. These courses no longer be offered every semester, but only once a year!!!

The following schedule will be followed:

  • Bachelor Colloquium: only in the summer semester

When planning your studies, please note that if you do not participate in the Bachelor's Colloquium this or the following semester, you will not have another opportunity to do so until the summer semester 2027!

Application Process and General Notes

Intended Number of Participants: 12 students

The topics are assigned based on student preferences during the introductory session. In case of overlapping preferences, a lottery will decide. 

Examination Requirements

The examination is completed through regular attendance, presentation of ongoing work, and a final presentation of the results.

After the colloquium, students may write their Bachelor’s thesis on the chosen topic.

General Notes

  1. Prerequisite: Attending the course Fundamentals of Marketing beforehand and having advanced knowledge in marketing as taught in the courses Marketing Decisions and/or Marketing Research. A solid understanding of statistics is advantageous.
  2. Presentation dates are intended to document project progress and discuss any open questions or potential improvements. Consultation sessions are held in person..
  3. The written documentation of the Bachelor’s thesis should follow the writing guidelines for seminar and final papers available on the chair’s website, as well as the relevant requirements for bachelor’s theses.
    The focus is on quality, not quantity!
  4. Unexcused absences will result in exclusion from the colloquium and failure of the course!
