On Thursday 21 November at 12 pm , the campaign will be opened by Vice Rector Professor Dr Dario Anselmetti and Pastor Ulrich Pohl, Chairman of the Board of the v. Bodelschwinghschen Stiftungen Bethel. The dance group from Bethel will also be taking part again and will perform at the start of the campaign in the university hall. The stars can then be selected directly on the tree or at www.aktion-wunschstern.de.
And this is how it works:
Anyone who would like to bring joy to people from Bethel can choose the right star from the large number of wish stars on the website or on the tree from 21 November. A box number is printed on the label on the star, which can be used to identify the recipient.
From 21 November to 4 December, parcels can be handed in at the UniShop using the box number or brought directly to the Neue Schmiede. The gift will then be forwarded to the correct recipient.
Further information can be found at www.aktion-wunschstern.de
We look forward to receiving many wish fulfilers again this year!
Looking back
In 2020, the starry sky of the Wishing Star campaign moved online due to coronavirus. The campaign was very successful - more than 1,300 wishes were granted in record time.
Since 2021, wishes have been able to be selected both in the digital starry sky and on the tree in the university hall. The number of wishes has once again increased significantly compared to previous years. In 2022, Bethel received more parcels than in any previous year, and from all over Germany.
We would like to thank all wish fulfilers!
