In research projects in which personal data is collected, a high degree of care is urgently required to protect this data. In addition to knowledge of the current legal situation on the basis of the Basic Data Protection Ordinance (DSGVO), anonymisation techniques are also essential. In cooperation with the university's data protection officer, we support you in carrying out your research projects in compliance with data protection regulations.
If you want to conduct research with personal data as part of a project, a study or a thesis, then you need an informed consent form to be able to collect and process this data in accordance with the law. We will help you to create an adapted declaration of consent for your project.
Even if you only want to collect and process anonymous data from individuals, it is recommended from an ethical point of view to at least provide information for participants.
