PubMed and an Introduction to MeSH (intermediate level)

Content	In this course you will practise the construction of a bit more complex search strings in PubMed and gain insight into the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) thesaurus. This course is offered in German in the winter semester and in English in the summer semester.
Recommended prior knowledge	Recommended prior knowledge: You are familiar with the basic functions of PubMed and you know how to use the Boolean Operators AND and OR. If you have no prior knowledge about PubMed and Boolean Operators we recommend that you attend “An Introduction to PubMed” prior to this training.
Dates	Current dates can be found in the eKVV. We are happy to arrange individual appointments with groups on request.
Target Group	Primary target group: Students who will soon be writing a thesis and who would like to use MeSH terms and more complex search strings for their literature searches in PubMed. Researchers are also welcome to attend.
