International Public Health - University partnership
In 2005 the Department of Epidemiology & International Public Health (AG3) established a University Partnership with Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi (India) and Baskent University in Ankara (Turkey). In 2009 the Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology in Kerala (India) and the University of Maiduguri in Maiduguri/ Borno State (Nigeria) accrued to this partnership.
The partnership is financially supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), and aimed to strengthen teaching in International Public Health at the three universities as well as to enhance the international educational exchange of students and lectures among them.
