- Advice from doctoral students for doctoral students
Our focus is on a lively exchange of knowledge and shared learning. We therefore encourage all participants to share their existing methodological expertise and experience with others. These can range from advanced statistical analyses to the development of innovative research designs. To this end, you have the opportunity to provide information about your own methodological expertise via the "PsychoPAN" exchange platform. Your details can be viewed by network participants and can serve as a source of information on who to contact within the community with methodological questions. The network also gives you the opportunity to offer peer advice on specific methods. To receive credit for your peer counseling activities, please use the documentation template (LP analogous to the amount of time: from 10 hours 0.5 LP, from > 20 hours 1 LP - maximum 1 LP per semester).
This initiative not only strengthens our network, but also sponsors a culture of mutual learning and growth. Share your knowledge and help make our doctoral programme a vibrant and dynamic community.
- Internal departmental and central counselling services
Since April 2024, AE06 - Psychological Methodology and Evaluation has been working with Dr. Christoph Kiefer to develop a comprehensive concept for supporting and advising researchers in psychology at Bielefeld University. The offer comprises three pillars
- Personal counseling (available immediately)
- Workshops (under development, first needs assessment planned for the start date of 2025, please contact Dr. Christoph Kiefer or the programme coordinator if you have any special needs)
- Asynchronous offer (tutorials, FAQs, etc.) (under development)
In addition to the services offered by the Department of Psychology, the University's Competence Center for Research Data offers personal advice, as well as a wide range of services and tools for managing your research data and training courses.
