New: Recognition of health-related activities in the doctoral programme

From now on, activities to maintain and support (mental) health can also be credited as part of the doctoral programme. These include, for example, workshops, courses or other formats that serve to manage stress, build resilience or promote healthy doctoral practice.

  • Credit is awarded in line with the time required - based on the existing system (25-30 hours = 1 CP, at least 11 hours for 0.5 CP, exceptions with justification).
  • The prerequisite is that the activity has a recognisable connection to the doctoral phase and contributes to the sustainable support of one's own doctoral ability.

We are currently working on suitable programmes that specifically address the challenges and needs of our participants. Until then, we strongly recommend that you take advantage of the university's existing health management programme.

In this way, we are sending out a signal that health is a central building block for a successful doctorate
