General Information: Istanbul is the Turkish center for culture, education, commerce, finance and media. It is the only city in the world that is located on two continents - Europe and Asia. The city, steeped in history, is home to over 15 million people, and approximately 14 million foreign tourists visit Istanbul annually. Istanbul University, founded in 1453, is the oldest university in the country and today maintains 16 faculties on nine campuses.
Study programs and specializations: A general bachelor's program in psychology is offered, as well as a bachelor's in "Psychological Science Education Guidance and Counceling." In addition, there is a master's program in "Aviation Psychology" and one in "Psychological Services in Education."
Study schedule: The fall semester runs from mid-October to mid-late January, with exams taking place through early February. The spring semester begins in mid-March and ends in mid-June, with subsequent exams usually lasting until the end of June.
Other Information: Turkish language courses are offered for Erasmus students.
