University of Lisbon (Portugal)

General information: The capital of Portugal is home to more than half a million people. The city is located at the mouth of the Tagus River on the Atlantic coast, with a short bus / train ride to the surrounding sandy beaches are easily accessible. In addition to numerous cultural offerings and impressive buildings, Lisbon also has a lot to offer in terms of cuisine - especially famous are the Pastéis de Nata, small puff pastries with custard filling. Lisbon is also home to the world's largest seawater aquarium, the Océanario de Lisboa. The state-run Universidade de Lisboa is Portugal's largest university, with about 50,000 students. More than 400 different courses of study are offered at eight faculties.

Study programs and specializations: In addition to a general bachelor's degree, numerous different master's degrees are offered in Clinical and Health Psychology, Child and Adolescent Developmental Psychopathology - Prevention and Intervention, Educational Psychology and Counseling, Cognitive Social Psychology, Personnel, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Emergency Psychology, Clinical and Experimental Neuropsychology, and Cognitive Science.

Study schedule: the winter semester begins in early/mid-September and ends in early February. The summer semester runs from mid-February to the end of July. Examinations take place at the end of each semester.
