Professor of Political Theorie and History of Ideas

Curriculum Vitae: Oliver Flügel-Martinsen is Professor of Political Theory and History of Ideas at the Faculty of Sociology, Bielefeld University. He studied political science, philosophy and sociology and holds MA degrees in political science (2001) and philosophy (2005), both at the Technical University of Darmstadt; PhD (2006) and Habilitation (2008) at Leibniz University Hannover. Positions as assistant professor, visiting scholar and substitute professor in Darmstadt (Technical University of Darmstadt), Hannover (Leibniz University Hannover), Paris (Panthéon Sorbonne) and Heidelberg (Heidelberg University of Education).
