Mohammad Fazleh Elahi

Mohammad Fazleh Elahi is Research Programmer/NLP software developer/ Computational Linguist with a background in natural language processing and computer science.  He completed his M.Sc in Language & Communication Technologies at Universität des Saarlandes (Language Technology), Germany & University of Malta (Computer Science), Malta. The master program was under the Erasmus Mundas Scholarship of the European Union. His Bachelor was in computer science and engineering from Khulna University, Bangladesh. After master, he worked on situated spoken dialogue system, dialogue modelling, natural language understanding and generation in the project group I5-DiaSpace (i.e. Flexible Dialogue Control for Intuitive Spatial Communication) of the SFB/TR-8 Spatial Cognition in Bremen. Then, he worked in the project The NeoCrawler (the lexical innovations are identified and monitored on the Internet by the system) at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. After that, he worked on NLP web service development and interoperability in a transatlantic collaboration project between CLARIN (European Research Infrastructure for Language Resources and Technology) of University of Tübingen and LAPPS (Brandeis University and Vassar College, USA). He joined the Semantic Computing group at the Cluster of Excellence Cognitive Interaction Technologies (CITEC) in November 2019 as a research scientist in the project Prêt-à-LLOD (Linguistic Linked Open Data) and is currently working in the Semantic Web and Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning in general and more specifically ontology lexicalization, linked terminology, automatic question generation from ontology, etc.
