QUAMU: Quantifying and Managing Uncertainty

QUAMU (Quantifying and Managing Uncertainty) is one of the 13 focus areas of Bielefeld University. QUAMU researchers develop new models in decision theory, economics, mathematics, sport sciences, biology and statistics in order to better understand and manage uncertainty.

The QUAMU Research Seminar brings together members of the focus area and further interested scientists, to discuss novel approaches, both from a theoretical as well as from an applied point of view. Talks are given by current and prospective members of the group, but also by external speakers whose research projects are related to the contents of QUAMU.
