The Welcome Centre aims to support internationally mobile Researchers, the host Faculty and research institutions as well as staff, people who are international doctoral candidates with all questions related to the organisation of their stay in Germany. At the Welcome Centre, you will not only receive information on all the formalities that need to be taken care of, such as visa applications and health insurance. We will also be happy to answer your questions about everyday life in Bielefeld and Germany and help you find a place to live. You can find initial answers to the most pressing questions on our website.
Please inform us as early as possible about your planned stay at Bielefeld University. This primarily enables us to advise and support you individually before your arrival and to prepare for your arrival.
