European and International Funding
The main instrument of EU research funding is the research framework program. The current Framework Programme for Research and Innovation is named HORIZON Europe and has a duration of 2021 to 2027.
The German HORIZON Europe web portal (in German) provides up to date information on events, German National Kontakt Points (NKS) and others.
All official publications of the European Commission (calls, documents, portal for the proposal submission etc.) can be found in the "Funding & Tenders Portal" of the EU Commission.
Contact and Consulting Service
The department Forschungsförderung und Transfer (FFT) [research funding and transfer] is the counselling centre for researchers and their business partners.
The EU team advises on the application and handling of EU projects in HORIZON 2020 and HORIZON Europe.
