Getting started in research funding

Presentation for doctoral students and postdocs without experience in research funding.
This workshop is aimed at advanced doctoral students and postdocs from all disciplines who wish to apply for external funding and/or obtain initial ideas and information in this regard. Basic general information on the funding landscape will be given and important national third-party funding bodies will be presented: the German Research Foundation (DFG), the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and an exemplary selection of research-funding foundations.
The presentation will be given in English. In the subsequent discussion, questions in German are possible and welcome.
A registration is not required.
