Didactic possibilities of Moodle (new) - Enabling interaction in blended learning formats.

Developments at universities over the past year required many to rethink their own teaching. Many formats for the interaction of and with students as well as their activation for participation could only be implemented with effort in distance teaching. The digital tools provided by the university offer a variety of possibilities for the implementation of didactic scenarios - also, but not only - in distance learning.
In the workshop, we will present selected didactic examples in Moodle. Here we focus on the interaction with and among the students themselves. Activities and materials from Moodle will be presented and explained on the basis of didactic questions.
After a presentation of the didactic and technical possibilities, there will be plenty of time in the workshop to try out and develop your own didactic implementation possibilities.
If you have little or no prior knowledge of Moodle, it may be helpful to attend the workshop of the TiL-team "Introduction to the Learning Platforms Learning Space & Moodle" first.
Workshoptrainers:
Frank Homp works at the Centre for Teaching and Learning as an "OER multiplier" and networker for the OER platform ORCA.NRW and the ORCA.NRW community of 37 partner universities. After his studies in vocational education (M.A.), Frank worked in (research) projects with a focus on educational research and teaching & learning with digital media. He wrote his master's thesis on the topic of "self-directed learning with digital media in practical physiotherapy training".
Birte Stiebing works at the Centre for Teaching and Learning in support of digital higher education teaching. Previously, she worked for several years as an online marketing expert for the stages and orchestras of the city of Bielefeld. She studied Interdisciplinary Media Studies (M.Sc.) at Bielefeld University. As part of her master's thesis, she dealt with e-learning in corporate communication.
Ressources: For this WS it is necessary that you have your own Moodle course. If you do not have Moodle available, please contact your course instructor as soon as possible.
