This workshop is directed at doctoral researchers, who intend to submit their dissertation within the next year.
Many doctoral researchers realise that throughout the dissertation process, not only their topic and focus have shifted, but also their research aims and scopes have changed. Duties keep piling up, demanding more work and energy than anticipated. At the same time, ideas and results need to be put on paper, and more and more text parts need to be revised and polished.
In this situation, the workshop offers a platform to look back at what you have already achieved, and to look into the future to realistically plan the remaining tasks and time.

Following up on the workshop, you have the opportunity to get together in writing tandems or peer feedback groups to support each other in your writing projects on a long-term basis, possibly with some additional trainer input/support.
Trainer:
Dr. Vera Leberecht (Maastricht/NL) studied Linguistics, Intercultural Communication and Theology in Germany and Finland. She worked at Maastricht University Language Centre for several years before starting her own training and consulting business in 2008. She is enthusiastic about empowering professionals to communicate with reason and resonance, in academia and beyond
