BAföG certificate

Benefit certificate according to § 48 BAföG:

The assessment period for the BAföG certificate depends on the time at which your application is received by the Office for Educational Support (BAföG Office). If the application is received from 01.04. to 31.07. in the Summer semester or from 01.10. to 31.01. in the Winter semester, the performance level of the previous 3rd semester must be certified. If the application is received from 01.08. to 30.09. or from 01.02. to 31.03., the performance level of the current 4th semester must be certified. Since academic achievements are often not yet recorded at that time, it is advisable to submit your application in good time so that your application is received by the Office for Educational Funding (not by the Faculty ) by 31.07. or 31.01. respectively. Please take into account the processing time of your application form at the Faculties.

The certificate that the usual academic achievements for the study programme variants Integrated Studies for Primary Education ("Sachunterricht") have been achieved by the end of the 3rd semester can be issued if the following achievements are available:

Major Subject:

  • 69-SU1_b AND 69-SU2 all coursework and examinations, AND.
  • 69-SU3 one partial module examination or one study requirement / credits.

Subject:

  • 69-SU1_b AND 69-SU2 all course and examination achievements, OR
  • 69-SU1_b OR 69-SU2 all coursework and examinations AND 69-SU3 two coursework or examinations.

Certification that the usual academic achievements for the study programme variants in Integrated Studies for Primary Education ("Sachunterricht") have been completed by the end of the 4th semester can be issued if all study and examination achievements have been received in the following Modules:

Major subject:

  • 69-SU1_b, 69-SU2, and 69-SU3.

Subject:

  • 69-SU1_b and 69-SU2 OR.
  • 69-SU1_b and 69-SU3

If you have studied the Modules of Integrated Studies for Primary Education ("Sachunterricht") in a different order, an individual examination is required. Please contact Kerstin Harmening regarding this.

If you are unable to provide evidence of the usual achievements required at the time of application for the study programme variants of Sachunterricht, but have achieved more than the usually required academic achievements in one of your other subjects / learning areas, please contact the office responsible for BAföG certificates for your major subject. In this case, an overarching check will be carried out here.
