BAföG certificate

Certificate of benefit according to § 48 BAföG:

The assessment period for the BAföG certificate depends on the date on which your application is received by the BAföG Office. If the application is received from 1 April to 31 July in the summer semester or from 1 October to 31 January in the winter semester, the performance level of the previous 3rd semester must be certified. If the application is received from 1 August to 30 September or from 1 February to 31 March, the performance status of the current 4th semester must be certified. As academic achievements are often not yet recorded, it is advisable to submit your application in good time so that it is received by the Office for Educational Support (not the Faculties) by 31 July or 31 January. Please take into account the processing time of your application form at the Faculties.

The certificate that the usual academic achievements for the study programme variants Integrated Studies for Primary Education ("Sachunterricht") have been completed by the end of the 3rd semester can be issued if the following achievements are available:

Major subject:

• 69-SU1-BASIS AND 69-SU-NAWI (FsB 2016: 69-SU1_b AND 69-SU2) all coursework and examinations, AND
• 69-SU-GEWI (FsB 2016: 69-SU3) a partial module examination or study requirements / credits

Subject:

• 69-SU1-BASIS AND 69-SU-NAWI (FsB 2016: 69-SU1_b AND 69-SU2) all coursework and examinations, OR
• 69-SU1-BASIS OR 69-SU-NAWI (FsB 2016: 69-SU1_b OR 69-SU2) all study and examination achievements AND 69-SU-GEWI (FsB 2016: 69-SU3) two study or examination achievements

The certificate that the usual academic achievements for the version of degree programme Integrated Studies for Primary Education ("Sachunterricht") have been completed by the end of the 4th semester can be issued if all study and examination achievements have been completed in the following modules:

Major subject:

• 69-SU1-BASIS, 69-SU-NAWI and 69-SU-GEWI (FsB 2016: 69-SU1_b, 69-SU2 AND 69-SU3)

Subject:

• 69-SU1-BASIS and 69-SU-NAWI (FsB 2016: 69-SU1_b AND 69-SU2) OR
• 69-SU1-BASIS and 69-SU-GEWI (FsB 2016: 69-SU1_b AND 69-SU3)

If you have studied the modules of Integrated Studies for Primary Education ("Sachunterricht") in a different order, an individual examination is required. Please contact Kerstin Harmening for this.

If you are unable to provide evidence of the usual academic achievements required for the Integrated Studies for Primary Education ("Sachunterricht") study programme variants at the time of application, but have achieved more than the usual requirements in one of your other subjects / subjects, please contact the office responsible for BAföG certificates for your major subject. In this case, a comprehensive assessment will be carried out.

 

You will need the following documents/information for your BAföG application:

• completed application form ("Form 5")
• Your email address

Please proceed as follows before your visit to the Examination Office for Primary Education ("Sachunterricht"):

Complete the application form in full. Please enter "Primary School" or "Primary School with ISP" as the subject area / subject area and "Integrated Studies for Primary Education ("Sachunterricht")" as the 1st subject. Leave the 2nd and 3rd subjects blank.

Submit the form preferably by email at pruefungsamt.bised@uni-bielefeld.de. Alternatively, you can submit the application in person to the Examination Office for Integrated Studies for Primary Education (" Sachunterricht" ) (L5-104) or post it to the post box (UHG, TLU5-Lichthof, Stahlpostfach 1389). Please do not forget to include your email address.

As soon as your application has been fully processed (this may take a few days), you will receive the certificate of achievement for Integrated Studies for Primary Education ("Sachunterricht") back by email. You can then submit the form to the BAföG office. Your application will not be sent there automatically!

You must submit separate BAföG applications for each of your four study programme variants to the relevant office in the corresponding Faculty.
