Bielefeld University offers numerous interdisciplinary and discipline-specific opportunities for researchers to network around research data and data science. These include the agile networking formats of the BiCDaS Data Labs and networks on open science and research data.
In the BiCDaS Data Labs, researchers network around a cross-disciplinary thematic focus and work together on projects. There are currently Data Labs on Digital Humanities, HPC and Advanced Simulation, and Corona, Data, Impact and Solutions.
The Open Science Network connects Bielefeld researchers on all topics related to open science, and in the Data Champions Network, researchers from different faculties act as mentors for best practices in dealing with research data.
