Doctor of Public Health

In contrast to an individual (non-structured) doctorate, the doctoral study program provides structured support for writing a dissertation. This ensures that, through continuous and well-organized supervision, the dissertation can be completed within a maximum of three years. The courses in the doctoral program focus on the academic exploration of theoretical, methodological, and content-related aspects of health sciences. The curriculum is organized into quarterly block seminars, each lasting two and a half days (from Thursday to Saturday). The AG 7 "Environment and Health" working group (Prof. Dr. Tamara Schikowski) teaches in block 4, "Gegenstandbezogene Fragestellungen" ("Subject-Specific Research Questions").
