24.04.2025 Angelika Augustine

Title: "Fail cheerfully"

Abstract:
In the event "Fail cheerfully", professors and advanced scientists present unofficial parts of their biographies which, in retrospect, could be cheerfully regarded as failures. Anyone who has always wanted to know how many attempts it takes to be appointed as a professor or to have a third-party funding application approved and how many projects did not work out as planned in retrospect is very welcome to attend this event. Prof. Dr. Doreen Reifegerste, Angelika Augustine and other surprise guests will be reporting.

Title: "Exploring intergenerational housing and health in Australia through a case study and photovoice study"

Abstract:
Social isolation and loneliness for older adults is a complex health  policy issue. The built environment can promote (or hinder) social  connections, and therefore, it is important to consider housing  arrangements that incorporate programs and infrastructure to address these issues.
